Broadband “around me” and maps

IrelandOffline are delighted to present a broadband map of Ireland, in which you can see which exchanges are enabled, your nearest mobile “broadband” mast and which wireless ISPs are around you.

This is a work in progress and as more information becomes available we will add it. If you are a broadband provider and would like to be included please feel free to contact us. If you spot any errors we’d love to know about them! All the data has been collated from publicly available data sources and where missing the data was filled in by using crowd-sourcing methods over on boards.ie.

Currently we are in the process of mapping all the new VDSL cabinets that are being installed in selected areas around the country.

Instructions for the Cabinet mapping project are here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056919149

We are particularly interested in coverage maps for those WISPs that are not currently represented, until we receive the necessary data or coverage maps coverage is represented by coarse “best guess” polygons.

Expect to see refinements over the next few months.

If you would like to contribute to further developments on this map please free to contact us as well.
